INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

IQAC was initiated
in the year 2017 to improve the standard of Nursing Education and for
professional development. The first meeting was held on 20th April,2017 to
allot each aspects to faculty to work on for NAAC Accreditation. The focus was
on the vision of our college

Objectives:

• 
  To promote academic and administrative performance of the
  institution through quality improvement
• 
  To identify the breach related to Nursing education and
  administration
• 
  To strengthen the core competency of the students through
  various skill development program

Approaches:

IQAC shall develop
plans to

• 
  Make sure that the curriculum is well planned ahead of time
  and executed as per the plan
• 
  Introduce innovative teaching methods including e- learning
  for better academic performance
• 
  Provide various clinical experiences to develop knowledge and
  skill  
• 
  Establish a system for internal and external assessment of students
  to identify the progress
• 
  Create a feedback mechanism of students, Alumni and
  stakeholders related to academic and administration of college activities.
• 
  Conduct various non academic activities to develop the
  leadership skills  
• 
  Deliver various extracurricular activities for personality
  development
• 
  Develop mentoring system for the welfare of the students
  physically , emotionally, socially and spiritually.
• 
  Adopt best practices for better academic performances.
• 
  Organize inter and intra seminars , workshop and conference
  for professional development
• 
  Uphold the credibility of the evaluation process.
• 
  Conduct periodic educational audit and follow up
• 
  Strengthen the faculty of college by providing opportunities
  for continuing Nursing Education and conducting Research
• 
  Disseminate  research
  findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
• 
  Function as a nodal agency for skill development
