CON Decadal Celebration

College of Nursing, CIHSR completes 10 years of educating and nurturing nursing students. The decadal thanksgiving was celebrated on 21st October 2021 on the theme ” Excel in everything”  The auspicious day began with flag hoisting by former principal Prof. Bharathy Jacob in the morning followed by a formal program in Noksangchila Girls Hostel in the afternoon. The gathering was welcomed by Mrs. Purnungla Aier, the Nursing Superintendent. Dr.Sedevi Angami gave the Director’s address. Educational Tour

The IV year B.Sc Nursing students had one week educational program related to management of educational  Institutions to College of Nursing, Christian Medical College, Vellore.

Workshop on Obstetrical Emergencies for two days

Workshop on Obstetrical Emergencies for two days is planned for government staff Nurses as a part of strengthening midwifery skills once in three months I Workshop was conducted on November 25th & 28th 2019. Only 9 staff nurses attended the program II Workshop on 18th & 19th Feb 2020, 24 staff nurses attended the program.

9th batch of GNM and 6th batch of B.Sc Lamp Lighting Ceremony: 8th Dec 2019. The chief guest : Mrs. Bendangnaro, Acting Principal, School of Nursing, District Hospital, Dimapur.

REGIONAL SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP ON NURSING GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP

REGIONAL SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP ON NURSING GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP was conducted for the nurses under 35 years of age in order to commemorate the 200th Birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale and as part of NURSING CHALLENGE. The participants attended the seminar was 125 and the workshop was 33.

Alumni Association get together

The first Alumni get together was conducted on 21st March 2019. The extra murals were 39 and the intramurals were 8. They were welcomed by Vice President Mrs. Cecila Katasi, Vice president.Started with the devotion followed by introduction of the Alumni. Dr. Mrs. Christy Simpson Principal and Mrs. Bendangmenla Ao presented the annual report of college and Nursing service respectively.

National Student Nurses Association Conference

National Student Nurses Association Conference held in Guntur , Andra Pradesh from 29th Nov to 3rd Dec 2018. 18 students attended the conference and participated in various competitions One of the students got first prize for Spot painting. The topic was on “Global warming”
