The first batch of B.Sc Nursing (2014 -2018)
30 students were selected for the program. After a year one student discontinued the course due to family problems. All 29 of them completed the course successfully with 100% pass in the month of Aug 2018. All of them are placed in mission and private hospitals.

A Regional Seminar cum Workshop on “Essential Newborn Care & Newborn Examination & Resuscitation” organized on 19th & 20th April 2018.Partially Funded by ICMR. The main resource person was Mrs. Ebenezer Ellen Benjamin, Deputy Director (Nursing) & HOD of OBG & NICU, CMC, Vellore. No of participants: 206 for seminar & 43 for workshop (31 from outside of CIHSR). The participants were from Nagaland & Assam.

6th Foundation Day: 23rd October 2017
College of Nursing observed its 6th Foundation Day on 23rd October 2017 . Dr.Jacob Chacko addressed the gathering and Mrs. Bharathy Jacob gave a short message, Dr.Christy Simpson presented the annual report followed by cake cutting by all the administrators.
SNA MEET: 24th & 25th Aug 2017
SNA meet was held on 24th & 25th Aug 2017 to select students to represent Nagaland State for the National SNA Conference, in Guntur, AP. Five Schools of Nursing participated in various competitions and our students got first prize in seven out of the ten competitions. A total of 18 members are selected to participate in the competitions during National SNA Conference
Regional workshop: May 3rd 2017
Regional workshop was arranged on May 3rd 2017 with the theme: “Innovations in Teaching Methodology”. The participants were faculty from all the government and private SON, Nagaland and two from Tezpur, Assam.
